Description
In the past four weeks Haiti has been by 4 hurricanes. Hundred of people died and many remain homeless with no food, clean water or clothes. Children are not able to go to school because parents cannot afford tutition cost.
In hope of bringing awareness at UMass Dartmouth campus the Haitian American Student Association of Umass Dartmouth will be organizing an awareness night about Haiti, where we teach people about Haitian culture and the condition of Haiti. We also will be collecting monetary donatios and school supplies,clothes and non-perishable cans goods.
We are looking for the support of the Haitian Community to help make this event a success. As young Haitian we are the hope for Haiti, but without the help of the Haitian community our hard work will be in vain. I am hoping to see you all downthere. Please contact me if you need transportation.
Thi event is free of charge and Haiti pastries will be served!!!!!!!
